A hinged box with a matte, light-diffusing finish. The product reads as a silhouette rather than a specimen.

Where it fits

Skincare, fragrance and accessories where full transparency looks cheap and opaque board hides the product entirely. Frosting also hides moulded release marks and light scratches, which clear PET shows up immediately.

What you can specify

• Dimensions — built to your product, no fixed size range.
• Material — frosted PP or frosted PET; PP is softer and takes a matte texture without a coating.
• Printing — white or metallic screen print on the frosted surface; paper sleeve also possible.
• Insert — board tray or flocked PET tray for a jewellery-grade finish.

What decides the price

The frosting method. A textured mould costs more up front than a chemical matte, but the texture does not wear off in handling.
