Terms of Service
These terms apply to quotations, samples and production orders placed with Fushi Packaging. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
1. Scope
This website is a product and capability reference. It does not sell online and does not constitute an offer capable of acceptance. Every order begins with an enquiry and is confirmed by a written quotation and your written acceptance of it.
2. Quotations
A quotation states the tooling cost, unit price, lead time and shipping term separately. Prices are valid for the period stated on the quotation; where no period is stated, 30 days from issue. A change to size, material, quantity, printing or packing after a quotation has been issued may change the price and the lead time.
3. Samples and approval
A pre-production sample is supplied before mass production. Sampling takes 3–15 days depending on whether new tooling is required. Production does not begin until the sample and the artwork are approved in writing. Approval confirms size, material, colour and print; subsequent changes requested after approval are treated as a new revision and may carry additional tooling or setup cost.
4. Lead times
Mass production takes 7–20 days after sample and artwork approval. Lead times are counted from approval, not from the date of the order, and do not include shipping transit time.
5. Shipping and Incoterms
Shipments are made on the term stated on the quotation — commonly DAP or DDP. Under DAP, duty and import VAT are payable by the buyer on arrival. Under DDP, they are included in the quoted price. Transit time depends on destination, service level and customs clearance, and is confirmed once a carrier is booked; it is not guaranteed by this website.
6. Tooling
Tooling is charged as a one-off cost and is dedicated to the design it was made for. Where a repeat order reuses existing tooling, only production is charged. Tooling remains with the manufacturer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Payment
Payment terms are stated on the quotation and confirmed on the invoice. Orders are scheduled once the agreed deposit is received. Details of accepted payment methods are provided with the quotation.
8. Inspection and claims
Goods should be inspected on arrival. Damage in transit should be noted on the carrier’s delivery record where possible, and photographs of the outer carton and affected units sent to us promptly. Claims for shortage or defect should be raised with photographs and the carton label so they can be verified against the packing list.
9. Artwork and intellectual property
You confirm that you hold the rights to any artwork, logo or design supplied to us. Artwork remains your property; we use it only to produce your order. Where we create a dieline or structural drawing, it is supplied for use with our production.
10. Liability
Our liability in respect of any order is limited to the invoiced value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost retail space.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in the quotation.
