A six-panel carton with a folded hexagonal top. It reads as a gift pack on the shelf, but it is still a flat-shipped folding carton — not a rigid box.
Where it fits
Confectionery, tea, candles and premium food gifts, where a square carton disappears among competitors and a rigid box would be too expensive to ship.
What you can specify
- Dimensions — built to your product, no fixed size range.
- Board — 300–400 gsm FSC-certified folding boxboard (GC1 or SBS); 350 gsm minimum, because six panels meet at sharp vertical creases that soft board rounds off.
- Printing & finish — offset CMYK plus Pantone; gold or copper foil sits well on this structure because the flat panels are narrow enough to avoid foil drag.
- Structure — six-panel body with folded hexagon top closure; optional board platform inside.
What decides the price
Board utilisation. A hexagon nests badly on a rectangular sheet, so the waste rate is higher than a square carton of the same volume — this, more than the print, is what moves the unit price.
