A tall, narrow carton sized to a single bottle or ampoule. The whole design problem is stiffness: at this section, a soft board bows and the print breaks along the long edges.
Where it fits
Serums, essential oils, tinctures, 30–60 ml supplement bottles and fragrance. Common wherever the bottle is the product but the carton is what carries the mandatory text and the shelf presence.
What you can specify
- Dimensions — built to your product, no fixed size range.
- Board — 300–400 gsm FSC-certified folding boxboard (GC1 or SBS); use 350 gsm as a floor and go to 400 gsm for anything over about 120 mm tall, or specify a board with a higher bending stiffness rather than simply more weight.
- Printing & finish — offset CMYK plus Pantone; hairline rules and small type need a coated grade, since uncoated board fills in fine detail below about 6 pt.
- Structure — slim tuck-end blank, optionally with a die-cut board collar to centre the bottle.
What decides the price
Bending stiffness, not area. Two cartons of the same footprint can differ in cost because one needs 400 gsm to stay straight and the other does not — this is where a board substitution saves money without changing the look.
