Cardboard Lid & Base Box

Two folded trays, one slightly larger so it slips over the other as a lid. Shallow, wide and printed all over — the patisserie and bakery format that looks like a gift box but ships flat.

Where it fits

Pastries, macarons, chocolates and shallow gift sets where the product is presented lying flat. Also used for apparel accessories and stationery sets where rigid board would be overkill.

What you can specify

• Dimensions — built to your product, no fixed size range.
• Board — 300–400 gsm FSC-certified folding boxboard (GC1 or SBS); 400 gsm is normal here, because a shallow tray in 300 gsm flexes visibly once it is picked up by one corner.
• Printing & finish — offset CMYK plus Pantone on both parts, inside and out if required; food-contact grades with a grease-resistant liner are available.
• Structure — two folded trays, lid sized to overlap the base by 3–5 mm on each side.

What decides the price

The overlap tolerance and board stiffness together. Too loose and the lid lifts in transit; too tight and the print scuffs on the base every time it is opened.
