A travel jewelry case is a different product from a display box. The display box presents one piece; the travel case has to keep six pieces from meeting each other in a bag, and still close flat enough to pack.
Structure
Rigid board forms the shell, wrapped in PU leather and turned inside the edge. The lid is hinged rather than telescoping, because a case that opens and closes repeatedly in a hotel room needs a hinge that does not depend on fit. Where the case is meant to be packed, the corner radius is kept tight so it does not snag on the inside of a bag.
Interior divisions
The interior is where a travel case succeeds or fails. The usual layout is a ring roll in one section, a set of small divided compartments for earrings and studs, and a shallow tray for chains that must not tangle. Compartment walls need to be high enough that a piece cannot jump over them when the case is dropped, but low enough that the lid still closes without pressure.
Send the largest piece you need to carry and the number of pieces. Those two numbers decide the compartment grid, and the grid decides the case size — not the other way round.
PU versus leather
PU is the usual choice for a travel case: it resists scuffing, holds a colour consistently across a long production run, and does not develop the patina a genuine leather case will after a year in a bag. For a brand that wants the case to look new at the point of sale and stay looking new, PU is the more reliable answer. Genuine leather can be quoted where the ageing is part of the story.
Closure
A zip closure is the most secure and the most common on travel cases; a magnetic flap is faster to open and reads softer. Zip quality is the part that fails first — a coarse zip on an otherwise good case is the defect that gets returned, so the zip is specified with the case rather than after it.
Ordering
Standard MOQ is 3,000 pcs per design, with other quantities produced to order. Sampling takes 3–15 days; mass production 7–20 days after approval. Send the pieces you need to carry, the closure you prefer, and the colour direction.
